Thanks for sharing the complete details, especially the case number and closing date — most people miss the 03 September deadline because the ad is easy to overlook.

A few practical points for anyone applying to this one:

Apply early, not on the last day. PPSC's online portal slows down badly in the final 48 hours, and the Rs. 600 challan has to be deposited and verified before submission. Bank verification sometimes takes a day to reflect.

Keep the documents ready before you start the form: MBBS degree, PMDC/PMC registration certificate (valid, not expired), postgraduate qualification in the relevant specialty, experience certificates on official letterhead, CNIC, and domicile. An expired PMC registration is the single most common reason applications get rejected at scrutiny stage for BS-18 medical posts.

On the written/professional test: for Senior Registrar posts, the paper is mostly specialty-specific, but candidates often lose easy marks in the general portion — GK, Pakistan Studies, Islamiyat, English and basic computer questions. That part is quick to prepare if you practise MCQs daily instead of leaving it for the last week. I use https://mcqsdrive.com for that — it has Medical Science MCQs along with GK, Pak Study and English, and a quiz mode where you can set your own topics and timer for a mock test.

Also worth noting: the 3-year contract is extendable on performance, so it is not a dead end for those worried about permanency.

Has anyone here appeared in a previous PPSC Senior Registrar interview? Would be helpful to know the panel's question pattern.
