Under the theme “Housing the world: Safe and resilient cities and communities,” the 2026 World Urban Forum (WUF13) in Baku, Azerbaijan, will address the global housing crisis and promote inclusive, resilient, and sustainable urban development.
In collaboration with the Government of Azerbaijan, the United Nations Human Settlements Programme organizes WUF13, which brings together mayors, policymakers, urban planners, civil society actors, and private sector stakeholders to exchange best practices and solutions for addressing global urban challenges such as homelessness, informal settlements, and climate vulnerability.
