A formal agreement between the National Cooperative Organics Limited (NCOL) and the Chhattisgarh State Minor Forest Produce (Trading and Development) Cooperative Federation Limited (CGMFPFED) allowed Chhattisgarh to reach this milestone. With the signing of this agreement, certified forest produce under the “Pramaan” program was formally introduced. Items including turmeric, cashew, and wild honey were approved for sale under the “Bharat Organics” brand. In Raipur, the certification was officially made in front of Union Home Minister Amit Shah.
