Background about Pakistan’s Kashmir Affairs Leadership
The Ministry of Kashmir Affairs, Gilgit-Baltistan and SAFRON is responsible for coordinating federal policies relating to Azad Jammu & Kashmir (AJK), Gilgit-Baltistan (GB), refugees, and frontier regions. It also works with regional governments on development projects, governance reforms, infrastructure, and welfare programmes.
