The 2026 Winter Olympics, officially known as the Milano Cortina 2026 Olympic Winter Games, were held in Italy from 6–22 February 2026. The Games were jointly hosted by Milan and Cortina d’Ampezzo, with events also taking place at several nearby venues. More than 2,900 athletes from over 90 countries competed in 116 medal events across 16 disciplines.
