Ambassador Syed Naveed Safdar Bokhari is the current Ambassador of Pakistan to the Sultanate of Oman. He is a senior officer of the Foreign Service of Pakistan (FSP). Before his appointment as Ambassador, he served in Pakistan’s diplomatic missions in Beijing, Washington D.C., and Chengdu (China), and later as Deputy Chief of Mission in Washington D.C. He officially assumed charge in Muscat on 8 January 2025. As Pakistan’s Ambassador, he is responsible for strengthening Pakistan–Oman relations in trade, investment, energy, labour cooperation, education, defence, and cultural exchanges.
